Congratulations on being selected to participate in the SLEEPY HOLLOW ACADEMY ’14.
Our coaches have recognized you as one of the best players at your age group. While you have been recognized and selected as one of the better soccer players in our tryouts at your age group, I would like to remind you that this selection brings with it a tremendous amount of responsibility, dedication and opportunity. Please take this opportunity to continue your hard work and dedication that helped you to reach this level, because much more remains to be done to help you improve your skills and tactical awareness.
The goal of the SLEEPY HOLLOW ACADEMY PROGRAM is to help you become an even better player. We also hope you will learn to play with and get to know other skilled players, many of whom you have only played against in club related events. Along the way, we hope to make your SLEEPY HOLLOW ACADEMY soccer experience challenging, interesting and fun.
During the Program year, conflicts may arise between your other sports team scheduled activities.
Players and parents are responsible for communicating their SLEEPY HOLLOW ACADEMY commitments to their club teams. If your goal is to become a better soccer player you should be thinking ahead and planning ahead to avoid potential conflicts.
While many of you have experienced SLEEPY HOLLOW ACADEMY in the past, some of you are new to the program.
Therefore it is very important that you review this introductory letter with your parents. This letter is designed to explain how the program works, to answer questions that you may have about the program, and to impress upon you your responsibilities in this process.
